AGM Weekend 2010 - 8 - 10 October

This year the AGM will take place at the Holiday Inn, Bromsgrove, B61 9AB.

The cost for the AGM for dinner/bed/breakfast is the same as last year - £65 per person (£10 single supplement). 

You can book for the Friday and/or the Saturday nights – both for the incredible price of £65 per person per night.  This outstanding price also includes a disco on the Saturday night and free use of the hotel leisure facilities.

Bookings are to be made via Eileen at Club Office on 0844 335 0357.  A £20 per person deposit is required at the time of booking.  Book as soon as you wish and before you forget to do so!  Rooms will be held until 10th September.

We believe that we have an added attraction this year and that the weekend will appeal to many members.

The reason?

Our guest speaker is Duncan McMath, who now works for Toyota Europe in Belgium – and his current project is the new Toyota sports car to be released in 2011.

Currently with the description of an FT-86, this is a 2 + 2 and is the next generation sports car, which Duncan has driven. Although the press have been invited to see the new car and articles will be appearing on it, Duncan will be able to add some extra nuggets about this revolutionary new car that you won’t get anywhere else!

Duncan is joining us for the weekend and will have an allocated slot during the AGM. He will be around to talk to members afterwards, however please allow him some time to enjoy himself as well!

Duncan was previously Technical Director at Toyota GB and was heavily involved in road testing the MR2s to ensure they met British road standards etc. He has a wealth of knowledge about the cars so if you have a question that you’ve not been able to get an answer to, come and ask Duncan!
