MR2 Celebration Weekend 23rd - 25th March 2012

The Celebration weekend is two great events in one which are to be held in the North Norfolk area. You can join us for the Dinner and ball or the celebration run only but why not make a weekend of it and do both.

The Celebration Run on Saturday 24th March is a charity car run around the lanes of Norfolk to Celebrate Absent Friends.
Participating cars will be asked a suggested minimum donation of £5 per car to enter the run. All proceeds will be equally split between The British Heart Foundation and Cancer Research.

A little fun competition will be part of the run with a fun prize for the winner.

The run has been organised by Bob Steele and will be no more than 30 miles in the morning and 30 miles after lunch.The run will start at 10.30am. The details of the route will be given out on the day. It will start from the Knights Hill Hotel, Kings Lynn (the hotel we are staying in for the whole weekend). A buffet lunch has been organised in a nearby village at a cost of £10 per person (needs to be pre-booked via the Club office by the 16th March).

The Celebration Dinner and Ball to held on Saturday Evening is a time to let your hair down and celebrate our great Club with friends.
The dinner is a fabulous three course meal followed by an evening of dancing.

The deal we have arranged for you at this fabulous four star hotel is:
Dinner, Bed and Breakfast
£65 p.p.p.n sharing a double or twin
£75 p.p.p.n for single occupancy
£10 p.p.p.n room upgrade is available
Cost for dinner only on Saturday evening will be £30 per person

This great price applies to the Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights and you can book for one, two or all three nights. To book please contact the club office and you need to pay a deposit of £20 per person. All deposits need to be received by the 5th February and final balance to be paid by the 29th February please.

So dust off you ball gowns and DJs (or just smart casual if you prefer) and join us to celebrate with friends.

We would also like you to send us pictures and captions of your fondest memories of the club and your car so that we can put together a Celebration slide show to play throughout the evenings festivities. Please email your pics and captions to admin@mr2dc.com subject GM1 - Celebration Slide Show or alternatively send by post to the Club address. We can return pictures by post if you send a sae or we can give them back to you at the celebration weekend.
