Placing a Market Place Advert (for sale or wanted)

Whether you are a member of the MR2 Drivers' Club or not, you can place a 'for Sale' or 'wanted' advert for cars or spares on our website under our ‘MARKET PLACE ADVERTS’.

Advertising is free for members. If you are not a fully paid up member of the Club, a £5 charge applies.

Your advert will need to be validated by a member of the board before going live. Therefore, place your advert only once. Unless you receive an error message, your advert has been taken into account and is awaiting validation.

Validation can take up to 3 days as members of the Board are all volunteers, and they have a job in real life too – please be patient, your advert will be validated (it could be longer if the person responsible is on holiday).

The procedure is very easy and as follow:

Members please log onto the website using your email address and password before starting the procedure – it is important that you login before starting the process as this will wave the £5 charge.

1 - Hover you mousse over 'ONLINE SHOP'
2 – Select from the drop down menu ‘CREATE A MARKET ADVERT’
3 – Complete your advert with as much details as possible; do not forget to give your contact details
4 – Click ‘SUBMIT’

If you are a member and have logged on, that is it – nothing else to do.

If you are not a member, you will be taken directly to your ‘My Basket” where the charge for advertising will be automatically populated. Please follow the payment process all the way to the PayPal payment page (Please see PayPal Ecommerce Facility - Please Read before Purchasing for more details).
